Warehouse Forklift Driver - Days - Champs

- Available Schedules:
Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm, Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm - Compensation: $18.50 per hour
- Operate a lift truck continually on shift, proficient in driving backwards and maintaining sight of the travel direction.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment (e.g., cleaning, recharging batteries, reporting defects).
- Inspect product condition and verify it is free of damage or contamination.
- Place and store products safely in the proper location.
- Stage product for outbound loads with correct requirements.
- Empty waste bins into proper receptacles.
- Navigate lift trucks and transport materials or finished product to and from the warehouse, trailers, or operating lines.
- Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams, swivel hooks, hoists, elevating platforms; load, unload, stack material.
- Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Operate respirators for cleaning tasks.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the department.
- Show reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Follow safety and security standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications- Attendance:
Ability to work required schedule, arrive on time, and work overtime during busy season. - Communication:
Effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner. - Mathematics:
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) across units of measure. - Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents; write simple sentences. - Diversity Orientation:
Ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds. - Relationship Building:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. - Productivity:
Maintain a production level that meets or exceeds guidelines; work independently without interruptions. - Paperwork:
Complete and verify necessary paperwork accurately and according to guidelines. - Organized & Accountability:
Follow systematic methods; accept responsibility for actions. - Accuracy & Adaptability:
Perform work accurately and adapt to workplace changes. - Safety Awareness:
Identify and correct conditions that affect safety.
- Education:
High School Graduate or GED preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer/tablet proficiency; handheld radio. - Certifications:
Forklift Certification preferred; must complete Holman’s forklift certification program.
