Commercial Lender

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lender to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and helping clients achieve their financial goals while supporting the bank’s growth objectives. The role requires strong knowledge of loan procedures, contracts, and relevant financial software, along with excellent math skills and attention to detail.

• Originate and evaluate commercial loan applications, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct thorough credit analysis by reviewing financial statements, cash flow, and collateral documentation
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide suitable lending solutions
• Manage the entire loan process from application through approval, funding, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist in developing new business relationships through networking and client outreach efforts
• Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, bank staff, local professionals, center of influence, and community organizations
• Participate in community and professional organizations

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Lending
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related area
• Proven experience in loan origination, loan officer experience, or related roles within financial services
• Ability to analyze complex financial data accurately and make sound lending decisions
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration along with a proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Programs/Products
