Schedule:

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period;
Monday-Friday, scheduled between 7:00am-4:30pm

Weekend rotation:
No Weekends

The Billing Specialist position processes and submits all DMEPOS claims, as well as reconciles and makes corrections for all claims processed in order to receive reimbursement and balance accounts.

• Claims submission and reconciling of accounts.
• Send corrected claims. Balance customer claims accounts, process secondary claims and patient charges.
• Process all payor claim audits. Gather requested documentation and submit to payor.
• Work aging report. Determine if claim was received by payor and reason for non-payment or denial. Make correction and resubmit claims.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training in ICD-10 coding preferred.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience working in the medical industry preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

• Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
• Experience in insurance claims required.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
