Position Details- Location:
Mauston, WI, 53948 - Project Duration: 13 weeks
- Pay range: $45.00 to $50.00 / Hour
- Shift: FT Day Shifts (Week 1: 6:00am-2:30pm - Week 2: 6:00am-3:30pm) Every other weekend
- Job Description:
The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This important role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.
- Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition
- Complete all applicable resident assessments
- Complete medication administration while following the 5 Rights
- Perform wound care and assessments as needed
- Assist CNAs with answering call lights
- Monitor residents for changes in condition
- Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
- Perform other duties as requested
- Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
- Scrub Color Requirement of Navy Blue
