We are looking to hire qualified individuals who are self motivated, portray a strong work ethic and are able to communicate efficiently with customers and staff.

Red Ridge Ranch is home to more than 130 horses, providing a horse for every experience level. At Red Ridge Ranch, you will make new lifelong friends and memories while earning some extra money for the season. On site housing for qualified individuals is available.

Trail Guide and/or Ranch Operations Support

They must be willing and able to work long hours, weekends and holidays. Trail Guides carry out all the daily chores, including but not limited to:

• Morning chores/Evening chores
• Brushing and saddling 50+ horses
• Clean stalls
• Feed and water horses
• Guiding Trail Rides
• Give information to customers

Our Ranch Operations Support staff has a AM Chore, PM Chore and Trail Ride Coordinator 9 am to 5 pm option. This is not a riding position. This is for support staff only. AM and PM chores will include brushing, feeding and watering, and chores in general, leading horses, saddling/unsaddling and general cleaning. Trail Ride Coordinator This position is loading and unloading people on and off of horses.

You will need to be comfortable with horses on the ground (leading, tying), have strong communication and customer service skills, horse experience would be a benefit but on the job training is available. Must be able to walk and be on your feet for 8 hours a day.

All positions can work up to being trail guides if desired and if you have the necessary skills. Occasional riding is available to support staff (during time off). We are a fast paced busy environment and expect our employees to have fun while having the stamina to do the job. You will acquire new skills while on the job and must be willing to adapt, go with the flow and have a positive go get it done attitude.

Red Ridge Ranch is located just north of Wisconsin Dells, America's Water park Capital of the World, giving employees ideal day off opportunities to experience what Wisconsin has to offer. Along with a variety of water parks, Wisconsin supplies a wide array of outdoor activities including hiking and biking trails, lake side activities such as boating, jet skiing, and tubing, and multiple shopping opportunities.
