As an investment accountant
, you’ll support our investment processes through one of three specialized areas:
Investment Systems, Investment Operations, or Investment Accounting & Reporting. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow into future positions within our organization. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to complex investment processes, and contribute to the success of accounting and reporting on our growing investment portfolio.
Ensure the smooth daily operation of investment systems by monitoring processes, managing system access, running scheduled jobs, and assisting with testing and project implementation.
Investment OperationsSupport trade processing and cash management, maintain security data, process corporate actions, and resolve trade and settlement issues with internal teams and custodians.
Investment Accounting & ReportingPrepare statutory and GAAP reports, month‑end entries, and management reports. Assist with reconciliations, quarterly/annual schedules, and documentation of corporate actions.
This is a hybrid position in Mayfield Heights, OH. Approximately 3 days per month in office, with additional days for training as needed.
Must‑have qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance)
- Knowledge of internal accounting controls, GAAP reporting, and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) control documentation standards
- CPA license
- Analytical, research, attention to detail, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting issues to management in a timely and concise manner
- Ability to work in a team environment (on both intra and inter‑departmental teams)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access)
- $52,600 - $65,800/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
