Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Position is on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
- Care for adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Uses telemetry monitoring equipment in daily practice
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate exam required during orientation
- Traveler is required to work at least every other holiday
- Must not have assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location exceeding 18 consecutive months
- A 6-month wait period is required before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location after completing a contract
- Extensions beyond 18 consecutive months require mutual agreement
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests during orientation
