Lifepoint Health® is currently hiring for a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) with a 7p‑7a shift schedule.

As an RN on our 14‑bed ER unit, you will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform plan‑of‑care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate with disciplines to coordinate care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Work with families to improve patient abilities and help them cope with illness.

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience strongly preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
• Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire.

• Registered Nurse licensed to work in Kentucky.
• New graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months while obtaining an RN license.
