Responsibilities
  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
  • Take and record patient vital signs; lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
  • Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management; ask clarifying questions.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
  • Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
CNA Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a CNA.
  • Current state certification as a CNA.
  • Ability to rotate through weeks as scheduled.
