American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB certifications.

• Medical-Surgical unit within an acute care hospital, serving ages 3rd and 4th floor
• Patient population includes all ages with common diagnoses such as COPD, post-op joint surgery, and diabetes
• 57-bed unit with patient ratios up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with on-call as needed
• Floating to like units possible as needed
• Uses Medi Tech EHR system

• Active RN license (Kentucky or compact) required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Must be 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify for travel rate

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse Med/Surg population including post-surgical and chronic disease management
• Looking for kind, caring, and compassionate caregivers
• Scrub color is flexible, but attire branded with other facility logos is not permitted
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
