American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 1+ years of L&D experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.
Details- Night shift position in the Labor and Delivery unit, part of the OB/GYN Combined department
- 8-bed unit caring for OB, nursery, occasional GYN surgery, and occasional breast reduction/abdominoplasty patients
- Patient ratios maintained per AWHONN standards
- Uses Medi Tech EHR system
- Shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required, with additional weekend shifts as needed
- On-call duties as needed
- Floating required as needed
- Active RN license in KY or compact licensure required
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS
- Minimum of 1+ years of OB/L&D experience required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Professional demeanor expected
- Provide nursing care across OB, nursery, occasional GYN surgery, and occasional breast reduction/abdominoplasty cases
- Unit supervised by the Director of Women's Services
- Scrubs of any color accepted; casual attire not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
