Industrial Painter / Sandblaster Night Shift | $19–$23/hr

Monday–Thursday | 8:00 PM–6:00 AMShift: Night Shift (Initial Training on Day Shift)
Job Overview Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring experienced Industrial Painter / Sandblaster for a hands-on opportunity working with locomotives and heavy industrial equipment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial spray painting, abrasive blasting, metal surface preparation, and applying protective coatings to large metal surfaces. This position also involves physically demanding cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities Apply industrial primer, color coats, and clear coats using pressurized paint pots and conventional cup spray guns.

Prepare metal surfaces through sanding, cleaning, taping, masking, and applying bonding materials.

Perform sandblasting and abrasive blasting on large metal components using industrial blasting equipment, including 2-inch hose systems.

Apply decals and stickers to finished surfaces.

Pressure wash locomotives and heavy equipment.

Shovel, scrape, and remove accumulated sludge, dirt, and debris from locomotives.

Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications & Experience Previous industrial painting experience on metal surfaces, including automotive equipment, trucks, trailers, bridges, structural steel, or heavy machinery.

Experience operating spray guns and applying multi-stage paint finishes.

Knowledge of metal surface preparation and industrial coating techniques.

Sandblasting experience, preferably with large equipment or steel structures.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in dirty industrial environments.

Willingness to complete initial day-shift training before transitioning to nights.

Ability to complete required pre-employment medical evaluations, including respirator fit testing and additional job-related testing.

Pay & Schedule Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Night

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM.Training:
Initial training on day shift before transitioning to nights.

Schedule:

Four-day workweek.
