Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) night shift assignment in Kentucky requiring a KY or compact RN license and at least two years of experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional (IMC) hospital unit
- Patient population includes those requiring intermediate care and stepdown services
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- RN will provide patient care for intermediate level acuity cases in a stepdown environment
- Holiday coverage and weekend shifts may be required as part of the schedule
- First-time travelers are eligible for this position
- Epic, Cerner, or other EMR platform experience preferred but not specified
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in stepdown, IMC, or similar setting
- BLS and ACLS required (RQI certifications not accepted)
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for job consideration
- COVID vaccination card required
- Cannot have worked as perm staff at any facility within the specified health system within the past 12 months
- Must not be employed elsewhere full time
- Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from assignment location
