• Prepare and clean whirlpools and attend patients while in whirlpool.
• Assist patients in donning and doffing prosthetic or orthotic devices.
• Assist patients in dressing and undressing in preparation of treatment.
• Assist the therapist in setting up patients on all therapeutic equipment.
• Maintain linen and other supplies at all times at the disposal of the professional staff.
• Prepare hot and cold packs for use by the therapists.
• Adjust non-modality equipment for patient use.
• Assist therapists in gait training of patients and provide support to patients while ambulating safely; lower patients to the floor in the event of a total loss of balance.
• Perform daily whirlpool scheduling and complete daily assignment sheet.
• Identify the needs of the patient population served and modify and deliver care that is specific to those needs (e.g., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.). Communicate with patients, parents, and/or primary caregivers at their level.
• Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

• Ability to take directions.

• Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs., and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.

Minimum rate of $18.30 Hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act.
