Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will work 13-hour shifts, with options for both daytime and nighttime schedules. You will play a crucial role in patient care, medication management, and the overall pharmacy operations.

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapies.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for efficacy and safety.
• Participate in patient education regarding medication usage, side effects, and therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

• Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy practice setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech Expanse.
• Current pharmacy licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Must meet vaccination requirements, including Flu and MMR.

The Staff Pharmacist position requires a commitment to a rotating schedule, which includes:

• 13-hour shifts, either days or nights.
• Every 4th weekend rotation.
• Rotating holiday schedule among pharmacists.

• Relocation allowance available based on distance of move.
• Sign-on bonus offered.
