Retail Customer Service Cashier

Overview

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Cashier/Sales Associates. Primary duties include providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places, and assisting customers with their needs. Training is provided; no experience is required.

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
