Equipment Operator II - F78B
Annual salary, $48,682.25+ Full State Employee Benefits
Hours worked will be Monday through Thursday, 5:00am-4:00pm.
Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Minimum QualificationsEquipment Operator II – Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two (2) years of experience operating and maintaining medium-to-heavy power equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The substitution of education can be made for only one (1) year of the required experience.
Job Responsibilities- Drives a semi-tractor trailer delivering USDA commodities to every school district in the state.
- Responsible for filling out daily fleet trip tickets and receiving signed shipping documents from the schools delivered to.
- Helps out in the warehouse when needed.
- Requires the ability to be able to lift weights up to 50lbs.
- Must have a valid CDL and be able to drive a semi-truck and trailer.
- This position will be on delivery routes 3-4 days a week and may required some overtime.
* Preference may be given to applicants who have a valid CDL and experience driving a semi-tractor and trailer.
