AIM Media Texas, a trusted name in local and regional news, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support client-facing operations and help guide our transition into the digital age of publishing. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers, and enjoys collaborating with sales and accounting teams.

You will play a key role in managing the full A/R cycle for advertising clients—ensuring invoices are accurate, following up on outstanding balances, and helping maintain positive customer relationships. • Follow up on outstanding invoices through professional, courteous collection calls and emails
• Generate, review, and maintain accurate advertising invoices
• Manage and update the advertising billing system
• Communicate with customers to answer billing questions and resolve discrepancies
• Partner with the sales and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
• Monitor A/R aging reports and elevate issues when appropriate
• Assist with month‑end A/R close activities
• Maintain organized records to support reporting and audits
• Report directly to the Controller

• 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a related role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort speaking with customers about invoices and payments
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
• Proficiency with Excel (basic to intermediate)
• Experience with billing or accounting systems (training provided)

• Experience in media, publishing, advertising, or subscription‑based billing
