Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as experience with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and various automotive systems, including powertrain and diesel engine repair.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and software.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs.

Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, particularly in ADAS systems.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Document all repairs and services performed accurately in the company’s system.

Assist in training junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, preferably within a dealership environment.

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and diesel engine repair.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus.
