Job Description:

MEMCO Staffing is seeking an experienced Bulldozer Operator with GPS equipment proficiency for an ongoing civil construction project in the McAllen, TX area. This position is ideal for operators who have hands-on experience using GPS-guided systems (Trimble, Topcon, or similar) to perform precise grading, site preparation, and excavation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GPS-equipped bulldozers to complete accurate grading and earthwork tasks according to project specifications
• Interpret and follow digital site plans, stakeouts, and layout maps using GPS technology
• Assist with setup and calibration of GPS systems on equipment
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure machine readiness and safety
• Coordinate with site supervisors and survey teams to ensure alignment with project elevations and contours
• Maintain awareness of utility locations and other job site hazards
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience operating bulldozers in a civil construction setting
• Proven experience using GPS guidance systems for grading (Trimble, Topcon, or Leica)
• Ability to read site plans and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail for elevation accuracy and grade quality
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Must pass a pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Familiarity with other heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, graders) is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
• Start time and hours may vary based on project needs
