Project Manager, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

As a Project Manager at Benmar Electric, you'll lead the planning and execution of large-scale electrical projects from bid to closeout. You'll manage budgets, schedules, and teams across government, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Texas.

This role puts you at the intersection of field operations and business strategy — ideal for someone who thrives on complexity and wants to build something significant. You'll work on border security infrastructure, solar farms, major commercial developments, and industrial facilities that define the Texas landscape.

• Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Review project plans, specifications, and change orders for accuracy
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Prepare progress reports and present project updates to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of electrical project management experience
• Experience managing projects valued at $1M+ in commercial, industrial, or government sectors
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
