Bilingual Inbound Call Center Specialist - McAllen, TX (In-office)

Answer One is accepting applications for Bilingual Inbound Call Center Specialists in McAllen, TX, servicing a large client base. We are looking for motivated and performance-driven people to fill these unique and important positions!

We provide professional inbound communication services, acting as the frontline for our clients. Our team specializes in high stakes call handling, including greeting callers, documenting essential details, and ensuring critical information reaches the right personnel through precise routing and emergency paging. Given our extensive work with funeral homes, we seek team members who balance technical precision, prioritize accuracy and detail, all while with deep empathy and compassion.

Our Inbound Call Center Specialists assist a diverse clientele by taking calls in both English and Spanish, providing seamless translation and interpretation whenever necessary.

Duties:

Obtain customer information by answering telephone calls, interviewing callers and verifying information.
Document all necessary and needed information.
Follow all required processes and procedures.
Attend and successfully complete required Call Center training.

The

Skills and Qualifications we look for are:

Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills specifically in English and Spanish: spelling, grammar and diction.
Use professional phone voice communicating customer care and concern.
The ability to successfully and accurately type 35 WPM.
Demonstrated active-listening skills to gain client information and ability to ask appropriate questions.
Use PC/computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
Earn a premium rate of $16/hr hour by maintaining perfect attendance. This includes punctuality at the shift start, timely returns from breaks, and full shift completion. The base rate without perfect attendance is $18.50/hr.

Shifts:

Full Time
- Tuesday-Saturday, 5pm-2am (Sun/Mon Off)
- Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-12am (Sun/Mon Off)
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 3pm-12am (Tues/Sat Off)
You must be available to work evenings, a weekend shift, and holidays
