. Thurmond Eye Associates has served the Rio Grande Valley for more than 60 years. We're looking for a cataract surgeon to take on established patient demand, operate in our own ASC, and grow into partnership and regional leadership.
- Immediate volume
. A busy cataract practice with an established patient base and a strong referral network from our optometrists and the wider community. No ramp-up years. - Earnings that reward your work. Production-based pay as a percentage of collections. Realistic earning potential is $850,000+ per year.
- Real ownership
. A partnership track with equity, so you build long-term wealth instead of only drawing a salary. - A path to leadership. Potential appointment as Co-Chief Medical Officer for the Texas region.
- Your own surgical center
. Raider Surgical Center, our ASC opened in 2017, has state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical technology. - A team that handles the rest. Experienced clinical staff and business support let you focus on patients and surgery.
- 7 board-certified ophthalmologists, including 2 retina specialists5 optometrists
- 4 clinic locations across the Rio Grande Valley
- On-site optical at every location, plus a full-service optical grinding lab
- Raider Surgical Center (ASC)
- Production-based compensation (% of collections), with $650K+ potential

Whatwe're looking for
- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
- Eligible for a Texas medical license
