2025-26 Middle School Part‑Time After School Coach

Hired applicant is responsible for coaching a middle school UIL sport offered by the McAllen ISD Athletic Department: football, volleyball, cross country, tennis, swimming, basketball, soccer, golf, cheerleading and track and field.
Location and Positions- Brown Middle School – 5 positions
- Cathey Middle School – 5 positions
- De Leon Middle School – 5 positions
- Fossum Middle School – 5 positions
- Morris Middle School – 5 positions
- Travis Middle School – 5 positions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 48 college hours
- Ability to work cooperatively with student athletes, coaching staff, teachers, administration and parents
- Must fulfill all UIL requirements for coaches – Rules Compliance Program, Professional Acknowledgement Form, First Aid and CPR certified, attend a UIL Orientation Session, attend Concussion Training as scheduled
- Knowledge of fitness and sports activities
- Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions
Previous experience working with student athletes in sports and recreational activities preferred.
Working Days180 days / Up to 25 hours per week.
Pay DateBiweekly.
