Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintains respiratory equipment, supplies, and oxygen cylinders. Assists Licensed Respiratory Therapist with respiratory therapy treatments and CPT. Assists Licensed Respiratory Therapist to setup BiPaP/CPaP equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be in the 2nd year of the 2 year Respiratory Therapy Program of the CoArc approved School.
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required.
- Presently enrolled in a CoARC approved School.
- Experience:
Must be involved in the clinical portion of the Respiratory Program of the CoARC approved School with passing gpa. - BCLS (CPR) certification at time of hire. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
