We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technician to support our surgical team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Job Summary
As a Surgical Technician at Aeterna Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, you will play a crucial role in preparing and assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient operating environment. This position offers flexibility with full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20-30 hours/week) schedules, including potential weekend or evening shifts based on surgical needs. Competitive compensation based on experience (commensurate with qualifications).
Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing surgical supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Sterilize and inventory surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
- Monitor and restock operating room supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including nurses and anesthesiologists, to provide seamless patient care.
- Handle post-operative tasks, such as cleaning and preparing rooms for the next procedure.
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in plastic or aesthetic surgery.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- BLS/CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Must be reliable, team-oriented, and committed to patient safety and confidentiality.
