Job PurposeSupport our pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient care. As a Technician, you are the first point of contact for patients and the backbone of operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
- Execute pharmacy workflow procedures for production, pick‑up, drive‑thru and drop‑off, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Show empathy and genuine care, creating personalized moments while serving patients at pick‑up, drive‑thru and over the phone.
- Complete inventory activities—putting away deliveries, cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks—per pharmacy leadership instructions.
- Maintain a high‑performing team mindset; seek opportunities to expand clinical knowledge.
- Be flexible for scheduling and business needs, volunteering to travel to stores as required.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and CVS policies for patient safety and privacy.
- Deliver additional patient health services—including immunizations and point‑of‑care testing—where licensed and supported by training.
- Minimum 16 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent; or active enrollment in a high‑school‑equivalent program.
- State‑level board of pharmacy licensure or national certification required; meets state Board of Pharmacy regulations for each state where you will work.
- Completion of rigorous company training program before beginning duties; job duties may be limited until all registration, licensing and certification requirements are satisfied.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain reliable attendance, complete required training on time, and apply precise prescription labeling and data entry.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and mathematical reasoning skills.
- 1‑3 years prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting.
- Willingness to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs.
Base hourly rate: $16.00 - $24.00
