Responsible for the coordination of Medical Staff activities by acting as liaison for Administration to the Medical Staff. Works collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Staff, Chiefs of Service, Director of Risk Management, Director of Quality Improvement and Senior Administrative Staff for coordination of medical staff activities as identified in Medical Staff Bylaws and for compliance to federal and state laws as well as accrediting agency standards.

Directs activities of the Medical Staff Office.

What qualifications you will need:

• Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree required
• Five years progressive experience as manager or director

Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for more than 30 years. We work with the Texas Transplant Institute, which serves local patients in need of organ, tissue or stem cell transplants.
