American Traveler is seeking a Wound Care Certified RN for a Wound/HBO unit position requiring a TX or compact RN license and hyperbaric wound care experience.
Requirements- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Wound Care Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in wound care specialty required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
- One professional reference required
- Work in a hospital Wound Care/HBO department
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Uses equipment such as Wound VAC, ABI Dopplers, surgical scissors and forceps, curettes and scalpels, vascular compression systems, pressure relief mattresses/wedges, hydrogels, hydrocolloids, and antimicrobial/biological barriers
- Meditech EMR used
- Floating required to all units in the hospital
- Weekend and on-call work as needed
- Perform wound debridement and advanced dressing applications
- Manage wound care devices and treatment plans
- Work collaboratively across multiple disciplines
- Royal blue scrub attire required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
