Territory Manager – NPAworldwide

Job Description:

Provide industrial hardware to customers through cold‑calling and prospecting within a defined geographic territory. Must reside within the territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers.
  • Make face‑to‑face calls on cold and warm prospects.
  • Serve customers per company training materials.
  • Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
  • Present products and services to existing and prospective customers using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
  • Maintain cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
  • Continuously update customer contact information using company software.
  • Provide an approved fully insured vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and necessary tech tools for the territory.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to improve job‑related skills.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outside industrial sales experience preferred, especially in route or industrial sales.
  • Proven history of goal attainment.
Required Skills
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
  • Detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas in written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
  • Working knowledge of the products sold is helpful.
Other Requirements
  • Must purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobile store).
  • Must reside within territory.
  • Above average mechanical interest.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to kneel and bend down regularly.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner when representing the company (e.g., driving approved vehicle, wearing company attire, attending company functions).
