Territory Manager – NPAworldwide
Job Description:
Provide industrial hardware to customers through cold‑calling and prospecting within a defined geographic territory. Must reside within the territory.
- Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers.
- Make face‑to‑face calls on cold and warm prospects.
- Serve customers per company training materials.
- Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
- Present products and services to existing and prospective customers using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
- Maintain cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
- Continuously update customer contact information using company software.
- Provide an approved fully insured vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and necessary tech tools for the territory.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to improve job‑related skills.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Outside industrial sales experience preferred, especially in route or industrial sales.
- Proven history of goal attainment.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas in written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
- Working knowledge of the products sold is helpful.
- Must purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobile store).
- Must reside within territory.
- Above average mechanical interest.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to kneel and bend down regularly.
- Clean driving history.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner when representing the company (e.g., driving approved vehicle, wearing company attire, attending company functions).
- 3rd generation family‑owned and operated.
- 10‑year average employee tenure with 90% retention rate.
Annual Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (USD)
