Overview

Seeking a dependable individual who is trustworthy, responsible, and hard-working to pick up charity donations throughout the surrounding suburbs in the XX area.

Drivers earn $XX per hour. Some overtime may be required based on the needs of the business.

All Route Drivers work Monday through Friday, typically starting their route by 7:30 AM and working until their assigned route responsibilities are completed. No overnights are required. The Hiring Manager will provide a typical work schedule during the interview process.

Route drivers will primarily drive a 16-foot box truck and must adhere to strict safety and traffic guidelines. Individuals must have a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months. Must be 25 years of age and have a minimum of 2+ years of verifiable driving experience. No CDL required.

Must be able to pass a DOT physical and lift 75 pounds without assistance. Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, and getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout the day.

Must have two valid forms of  IDs include:
State-issued , Passport, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and Permanent Resident Card.

Other Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company vehicle to deliver products to and from designated locations.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients during deliveries.
• Assist in store operations, including inventory management and organization.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
