Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, and the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to safely coordinate total patient care and education for patients as they are admitted and discharged from the facility. The nurse will rotate between weekends and holidays according to the needs of the facility and function independently in ICU, CVSU, ED, medical‑surgical floors, and telemetry floors.

Responsibilities include documenting total care, reviewing and maintaining patient charts per policy, and assisting with accurate, timely entry of patient data, orders, and charges into the computer system. The RN collaborates frequently with the CNO, ACNO, Nurse Manager, physicians, administrators, peers, and ancillary departments to promote teamwork and problem‑solving. Attendance at yearly mandatory education and Healthstream requirements is non‑negotiable. The employee is responsible for maintaining all certifications and licensure on time.

• Promote teamwork between staff, physicians, home health, outpatient clinics and ancillary departments.

• Registered Nurse license.
• Must pass a pharmacology test for this position.
• Annual mandatory education and Healthstream training are non‑negotiable and must be arranged and attended by the employee.
• Maintain all certifications and licensure requirements on time.
