Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanic for a long‑term project in McCook, Nebraska
This role is for a journeyman sheet metal mechanic in the installation of all aspects of HVAC systems, including ductwork, setting hangers, rooftop units, and more — often working from ladders. This is a new medical facility.
Pay rate: $36 per hour plus Per Diem: $100 per day worked.
Schedule: Four 10‑hour days plus most Fridays (5 hours) for about 6 months. Work is expected to start on Monday December 8th for 6 months.
- 7+ years of experience as a journeyman sheet metal mechanic
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints
- Own all standard hand tools and a cordless drill
- Must wear all PPE and have reliable transportation
- Must pass pre‑employment screenings
