Accounts Payable Analyst role involving coding and analyzing invoices, vouchers, expense reports, and related documents, ensuring proper entry into Oracle, and supporting the Accounting and Treasury Departments.

• Code and analyze items such as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, and check requests with correct coding to ensure proper entry into Oracle.
• Identify missing payments from vendors and process workload in a timely manner.
• Handle all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
• Attach corresponding purchase orders and supporting documentation to incoming invoices and vouchers via OCR.
• Investigate and resolve problems related to processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare batch check runs, credit card payments, and ACH transactions.
• Assist with monthly status reports and monthly closings.
• Reconcile various accounts by identifying posting errors or omissions, applying appropriate accounting standards.
• Process remittance information from checks, drafts, and wire transfers for vendor invoices, reviewing instructions to determine proper disposition and crediting accounts per standard procedures.
• Receive, research, and resolve routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status and communicate resolutions to appropriate persons.
• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.
• Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting and Treasury Departments.
• Communicate daily/monthly with Treasury Department and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple entities.

• High school graduate or equivalent;
  Associate degree and/or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounts payable, preferably in the transportation/logistics environment.
• Knowledge of full cycle accounts payable; ability to multi-task; strong vendor management and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; 10-key by touch; strong written and oral communication; detail-oriented; professional demeanor; interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Oracle experience (3 years);
  Oracle Cloud experience a plus.
• OCR experience a plus; ability to adapt to change and process improvement.
