Primary Job Goal: Guide social media and multimedia storytelling efforts for the district and help determine how these media fit into the district’s broader goals and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and monitor the district's social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase awareness, spotlight successes and culture, and encourage engagement.
  • Create social media posts, incorporating graphics, text, and hashtags in a manner that takes into account accessibility of all audiences.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit photos and videos for internal and external use, many of which will be shared through social media platforms.
  • Use established district branding to create flyers, PowerPoint presentations, and other digital and print media projects for district and school use.
  • Assist the Web Coordinator with developing and maintaining contentجان? Actually: "Assist the Web Coordinator with developing and maintaining content for district and school websites."
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, English, communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in a өткен media or communications role.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Experience operating a DSLR camera in manual mode, with a dedicated flash and studio lights preferred.
  • Experience producing, editing, and disseminating multimedia content for online audiences.
  • Proven ability to use content management software and social media authoring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, an insistence on double-checking work with an exacting nature, and pride in delivering quality products.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and multi-task (must be comfortable with quick-turn projects).
  • Analytical thinker with skills in interpreting multimedia or social media analytics to inform strategies and communications plans.
  • Strong editorial judgement and instinct, especially around ethical and political awareness.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audiences-Isn’t that?
