Universal Banker – McDonough Branch First Peoples Bank
The Universal Banker is a dynamic, customer-focused role. It combines teller and personal banker responsibilities, handling account services, processing transactions, and promoting bank products and services to meet customer needs and drive branch success.
Responsibilities- Provide a welcoming and professional customer experience, both in‑person and over the phone.
- Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Research and resolve customer inquiries with care and efficiency.
- Open, maintain, and service various account types, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit.
- Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently using cash recyclers, branch capture systems, cash counters, and cash‑advance equipment.
- Assist customers with online and mobile banking services, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulations (BSA, CIP, OFAC, Fair Lending, etc.).
- Complete required training promptly and participate in ongoing development opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- One year of experience in banking, customer service, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to work well under supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and reliable organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust schedules as needed.
- Consistent and dependable attendance.
Full‑time;
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the McDonough branch.
Employee will sit at a desk for extended periods, reach, bend, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Must operate a computer, fax machine, scanner, copier, printer, phone system, and other office equipment efficiently.
TravelOccasional travel may be required for training, staff meetings, or assistance at other branch locations.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
