Responsibilities- Must be dependable and skilled in quality control when handling financial information, performing insurance verification, and preparing end‑of‑day reports, always keeping our patients worry‑free.
- Performs clerical tasks such as sorting, opening, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. Answer phone calls and provide information to callers; greet visitors/patients; schedule, verify, and confirm patient appointments.
- Explains procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.
- Presents financial policies and arrangements to patients, collects co‑payments and verifies insurance coverage as appropriate.
- Tracks appointments due to no‑shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
- 1‑5 years of customer service, insurance, or dental experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental software, Microsoft Office programs, as well as ability to learn new programs as needed.
