Moore Bass Consulting has an opening for an experienced Landscape Architect/ Planner with land planning, zoning, and Civil 3D CAD experience for our McDonough, GAoffice. The position requires a strong understanding of site design with previous experience managing large-scale entitlement and rezoning projects. This role requires regular interaction with government agencies and elected officials as well as our internal engineering and surveying department.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.

Typical Duties:

• Planning and layout work for multiple projects and multiple clients.
• Project management including scheduling, personnel management, client coordination, permit coordination, and interaction with various governmental agencies.
• Representation of projects in front of various governmental review boards.
• Work within project scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects.
• Managing other engineering and CAD technicians’ work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas.
• Supervision of technical and administrative staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: BS degree in Landscape Architecture or related field

Registrations: Licensed Georgia Landscape Architect.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of design experience in support of public and private projects
• Experience with regulatory approval processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Civil 3D, Sketch Up
• Strong leadership qualities
