You have experience working in a multi-channel, highly automated Distribution Center, where you collaborate closely with a team of managers and lead your team to ensure service levels are met, quality standards are maintained, and costs are kept in alignment with organizational expectations. A Day in the Life:

The typical day is atypical.

Operational Management:

  • Lead planning and execution of departmental operations in a multi-channel environment to ensure cost and service goals are met; delivering quality service, high productivity, and acting as a role model

  • Monitor supply/demand forecasts and other key performance indicators to ensure adequate warehouse staffing and departmental capacities – adjusting as needed to ensure labor costs stay in line with actuals and/or plan

  • Partner with cross-functional partners to implement initiatives and department goals in support of corporate strategies and priorities

  • Lead and contribute to effective problem-solving as operational challenges arise using practical solutions and ensuring seamless execution

  • Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures including 5S and safety

  • Monitor performance levels and quality standards utilizing observations and available KPIs such as LMS productivity results; hold team accountable to those standards

  • Work closely with Customer and Client Services to ensure customer inquiries are resolved quickly

  • Challenge the status quo and identify and action on opportunities for continuous improvement, with a goal of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the employee experience
