Honor Built is an IT services company specializing in multi‑location restaurants. Services include providing IT hardware, logistics, project management, and installation for new restaurants, technology upgrades, hot spare programs, on demand site visits, and help desk. We service national brands like Chick‑fil‑A, Burger King, Moe’s, and Zaxby’s as well as dozens of clients.

We are searching for a talented team player with excellent communication skills who wants to dive in and lead a strong team. This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting Honor Built’s robust logistics and operations processes at our Logistics Center. The facility and the services provided in it – receiving, storing, configuring and shipping – are mission critical. This role is integral to the success of our customer engagements, enabling us to configure and stage new hardware for restaurants.

The leader of this team will work to ensure zero defects and scale the team to meet the needs of the business. The manager must be ready to create and oversee processes to ensure efficiency and oversee that each team member follows proper procedures. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, mentoring, providing feedback, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Create, implement, update, and maintain workflow processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures for all tasks within the facility.
  • Manage inventory physical counts, reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintain a safe environment through training and procedures for forklifts, ladders, lifting and other warehousing processes.
  • Safeguard facility operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the facility by planning and implementing new layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Assist other teams with defining configuration scope with enough clarity to ensure we price services effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with our ticketing and management systems.
  • Monitor, investigate, and develop actionable responses to errors to ensure continuous improvement.
  • This job operates in a mixed‑use (office/warehouse) setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Apply real‑time logical workflows to technical configurations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Skilled at anticipating potential issues and taking proactive steps to resolve them.
  • Able to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively to achieve results within established time frames.
  • Willing to maintain a flexible work schedule, to accommodate workload needs.
Supervisory Responsibility

This position will be supervising up to 20 full time team members within various roles and contractors as needed. Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and promoting Company Values
  • Participation in the recruiting process, interview, and hire new staff as needed.
  • Ensuring team members are fully trained in their areas of responsibilities.
  • Oversight of daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Monitor employee productivity, provide regular, constructive feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Experience leading a mid‑size team of employees.
  • Experience in warehouse processes, inventory tracking and safety processes.
  • Experience assembling and disassembling computer equipment in both a controlled lab environment and production environment.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting various types of devices including but not limited to POS terminal, Kitchen Product Screens, receipt printers, firewall, wireless access point, tablets, smart TV, or any other equipment requested by the client.
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • Forklift Certification
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Six Sigma Certification Green Belt
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Equivalent Experience may be considered in lieu
  • Odoo ERP/CRM/WHM experience a plus
