Job Summary / Purpose
The Nexus Circular HMI Operator monitors manufacturing equipment, responds to alarms, adjusts system settings, records performance data, and collaborates with maintenance and engineering. The position operates the 6:30am‑6:30pm shift on a 3‑2‑2 schedule and reports to the Plant Manager.

The role focuses on maintaining high machine performance, ensuring safety, managing data logs, and troubleshooting issues to keep production within key performance indicators.

• Operate HMI software to monitor and control manufacturing machines.
• Track inputs and outputs, ensuring proper functioning and identifying abnormalities.
• Respond to alarms and notifications, taking action to address them.
• Adjust system settings to optimize machine performance and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, production data, and maintenance activities.
• Generate and review reports related to machine performance and quality control.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Escalate critical situations appropriately.
• Demonstrate sound decision‑making skills during stressful situations.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with team members and management.
• Lead the operations team on safety, quality, housekeeping, and production.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial processes and manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and HMI control systems.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

• Previous experience operating HMI or similar control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of feedstock processes.
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
