Job Summary
The Café Team Members are primarily responsible for serving guests efficiently with food and drink at the Urban Air Café. Working hours will be spent in the kitchen and/or service area, cashiering, interacting with guests, cooking, preparing, and serving food. S/he must work fast with a sense of urgency, while offering high standards of guest service and care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high standards of guest relations and care when assisting guests at the counter.
• Provide advice, guidance, and recommendations on products and menu items to ensure a positive experience and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for the Café.
• Manage queues and exceed guest expectations; upsell to maximize profit.
• Keep the Café and surrounding areas tidy and clean, including table clearing, dishwashing, and trash removal.
• Handle guest complaints initially and report feedback to the Leadership Team.
• Follow established guidelines and operating procedures.
• Measure, assemble, cook, and store ingredients properly.
• Rotate stock items as per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all health code regulations.
• Maintain organized kitchen and storage areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Previous restaurant or quick service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Serv Safe or similar food handling certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Stand for long periods and move around the facility.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
