Job SummaryResponsible for managing the team tasked with ensuring all inventory adjustments, inventory‑related operations service issues, other financial issues, and receiving discrepancies are researched and reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within a Medline distribution center.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage inventory control team members, and perform all supervisory functions (e.g., Pro Trak, Kronos).
- Perform duties of Senior Inventory Control Coordinator as needed for coverage.
- Serve as branch subject matter expert on all inventory functions and transactions.
- Manage completion of Daily Material Movement Exception Report and Goods Over Receipt Report and report disposition to branch and loss prevention leadership.
- Manage completion of all assigned error queues including ZPOGI, Z272, IQS9, and others as assigned.
- Report on problem ticket trends and issues.
- Report on overall service failures and customer complaints (OSI’s) and trend them.
- Assign errors to warehouse team members for non‑compliance with Operations SOPs.
- Report on audits of receiving functions—putaways, delivery receipts, and problem tickets—and review trends with leadership.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and peers in operations, A/P, product divisions, inventory management, item master data, and customer service.
- Operate MHE as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
- Experience as a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator with a broad understanding of inventory issues in a warehouse/distribution center.
- Prior experience with SAP inventory transactions and enterprise/warehouse management systems.
- Intermediate skill level in SAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (SUM function, setting borders, column width, inserting charts, text wrap, sorting, headers/footers, print scaling).
- Ability to take direction, implement changes, and adapt to a changing business environment.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Lift up to 60 pounds, sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods, operate in hot (95°F) and cold (32°F) environments, frequent bending and kneeling.
Education
- Associate's degree preferred.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment.
Anticipated salary range: $58,240.00 – $84,240.00 annually. Role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30+ hours per week.
