Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inventory Specialist w/ Reach Truck to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, optimizing stock placement, and performing material handling operations using high-reach forklifts. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a similar role, high attention to detail, and more listed below.
Pay, Schedule, and Location- Starting at $20/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-3pm
- Located in McDonough, Georgia
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established inventory audit schedules
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Log putaway, transfers, picks, and stock adjustments accurately using handheld RF scanners
- Conduct root-cause analysis on inventory variances, damaged goods, or misplaced items
- Audit incoming shipments for accuracy, damaged packaging, or quantity shortfalls against purchase orders
- Maintain lot control, serial number tracking, and expiration date rotation (FIFO/LIFO principles)
- Safely operate high-reach forklift trucks, stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks in high-bay racking environments (up to 30+ feet)
- Retrieve, put away, and consolidate pallets in narrow aisles and high-elevation storage bays
- Load and unload freight from trailers, flatbeds, and container docks
- Perform daily pre-shift safety and maintenance inspections on all assigned material handling equipment
