Community Health Centers of America is hiring for an MD/DO to work in family practice clinics in McFarland, CA. The physician must supervise NP/PAs and may also work in partner long‑term care facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients in the clinic setting.

• Evaluates medical conditions.
• Develops and implements treatment plans, including prescriptions.
• Monitors and evaluates treatment results.
• Conducts patient interviews, family interviews, physical examinations, reviews medical history, orders laboratory tests, and evaluates results.
• Determines the nature and extent of medical conditions and creates treatment plans.
• Collaborates with nurses, mental health therapists, physicians, and other health care providers on interdisciplinary treatment.
• Enforces policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and participates in utilization reviews to ensure quality and safety.
• Documents symptoms, medications, treatment events, and writes summaries in historical records.
• Participates in continuing medical education, maintains professional networks, and joins professional organizations.
• Accepts ownership for new requests and explores opportunities to add value to the department and organization.

• Completion of residency.
• Valid state medical license as MD or DO.
• Valid DEA certificate.
• 3 years’ experience working as a Physician.
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking.
• Active listening.
• Social perceptiveness.
