Building Principal

CERTIFICATION Current and Valid Paraprofessional License

Requirements

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 175 Day – Full Time

START DATE: August 19, 2025



Minimum Qualifications /Required Skills

• Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities/Duties

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.
• Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train.
• Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration;
  Positive attitude and dependability a must.
• Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs.

Pay And Benefits

• $17.00/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
