We are seeking a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who exemplifies this mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.
WorkingHours
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with one later evening shift.
Compensation$1000 Sign on Bonus
What You Will Be Doing- The Therapist QMHP is responsible for the provision of counseling, skills training and case management services to a caseload of clients diagnosed with persistent mental illness.
- Services are provided in family and individual treatment settings with both adults and children/adolescents. Services are offered both onsite and in the community or at client homes.
- Therapists are expected to work with a team of service providers within the agency and throughout the social service community to ensure that all needs of clients are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled work hours, including evening hours.
- Provide effective individual and group counseling.
- Complete clinical assessments that meet the requirements of program funders and applicable administrative rules.
- Provide case management services as medically necessary.
- Complete required documentation (IM+CANS, encounter notes, consents) on a timely basis.
- Meet minimum service provision/productivity requirements as assigned by the Director based on specific job duties.
- Acquire and maintain required certifications and trainings.
- Maintain client files according to agency policy.
- Maintain professional judgment and performance regardless of personal issues.
- Abide by AID’s Code of Ethics, policies and procedures.
- Schedule and conduct treatment planning meetings as necessary.
- Obtain input from consumers and other stakeholders on how to improve service provision.
- Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisor.
- Maintain a positive professional working relationship with agencies and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive professional working relationship with coworkers within AID.
- Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining public entitlements as necessary.
- Participate in agency committees as assigned.
- Participate in clinical supervision at least once per month.
- Provide outreach services to clients who are unable or unwilling to engage in office‑based services.
- $1000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time employees.
- Up to 21 days of paid time off, prorated based on hours worked, plus 10 paid holidays.

Master’s degree in a human services field.
License/CertificationLicense preferred (LPC or LSW).
ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred.
Physical RequirementsNavigation of stairs on a regular basis.
Equipment- Computer with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
- Copy machine.
- Telephone with voicemail system.
- Flexibility to work evening hours.
- Use of personal automobile.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policies.
- Maintain a valid Illinois driver’s license.
- Meet/maintain driving record standards as defined by AID’s insurance carrier.
