Position Overview
Performs duties to place product into inventory in pre-determined locations while meeting established standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain assigned work area and equipment such as laser scanning devices, totes, and carts in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Observe all safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions.
- Safely pick and place correct product off incoming lines in the correct order as it is received. Deposit empty product containers in designated area. Meet all established standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity. Check incoming orders for quality. Place defective product in rejection area.
- Accurately enter and categorize inventory records.
- Scan and place correct product number and type into inventory using proper tracking devices.
- Deposit overstocked product (more than can fit safely at specified locations) at proper locations for placement in overstock tote.
- Perform backup functions for other departmental personnel as directed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-3 years experience
- General Computer Skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mandatory overtime may be required
