Overview

Business Development Rep - Content Sales at Engage Brand craft

Location:

McHenry, IL. This is a non-exempt full-time position with a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and 2 remote days (Wednesday & Friday). Pay: $20 per hour ($41,600 annually).

We are hiring for a Business Development Rep to support Follett Content Solutions, a partner for educators since 1873, delivering print and digital resources to students worldwide.

About

The Role

As a Sales Development Consultant, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate new leads, build relationships with clients, and close deals.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Close deals and achieve sales targets.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and close deals.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to execute sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software; experience in the technology industry is beneficial.
