Gumpher, Inc. is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers and field teams on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction project management and develop the knowledge necessary to eventually manage projects independently.

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration
• Maintain project files and documentation
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documents
• Assist with material procurement and delivery coordination
• Track project schedules, deadlines, and outstanding items
• Assist with project billing and change-order documentation
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and internal departments
• Attend project meetings and document action items as needed
• Assist with project cost tracking and reporting
• Support project startup and closeout activities
• Help identify missing information and potential project issues before they impact field operations

• Construction experience preferred; electrical construction experience is a plus
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business software
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• Interest in learning both the operational and financial sides of electrical construction
